Daniel Hsia
CEO / Co-Founder
Daniel Hsia is a filmmaker with over two decades of experience as a writer and director in episodic, feature film, and commercial productions. Daniel's entrepreneurial spirit drove him to start Lumostage Virtual Production, a cutting-edge company offering LED virtual production solutions to Vancouver productions of all sizes. Under his leadership, Lumostage has pioneered groundbreaking virtual production techniques, pushing the boundaries of what's possible for British Columbia creatives.

Angus Luk-Ramsay is a dynamic leader and innovator in the entertainment industry. As COO and co-founder of Lumostage, Angus has played a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and success. His strategic vision and business acumen have been instrumental in forging key partnerships and navigating the complex landscape of the entertainment industry.

Nessa Aref
Head of Production
Nessa Aref is an award-winning Canadian-Iranian filmmaker, known for her innovative storytelling. Nessa's creative journey has seen her produce, direct, and write for both narrative and commercial projects. With a hands-on approach, Nessa leads diverse projects at Lumostage, blending creativity with pragmatism. As Head of Production, Nessa brings her years of experience in pre-production, production and post production to every project, helping to bridge the gap between traditional filmmaking and virtual production. Excited to make the impossible possible using LED Volumes, Nessa is thrilled to usher in a new wave of filmmaking.

Andy Brown
Virtual Production Supervisor
Andy Brown is an award-winning Cinematographer and CSC Associate member based in Vancouver, as well as a Virtual Production Supervisor with Lumostage. Through his 10+ year career on high end film and television sets, Andy has developed a keen eye behind the lens, giving him the experience and capabilities to tell thought-provoking stories through stunning imagery. Having created and taught the CSC Virtual Production Masterclass alongside Marco Bossow and Philip Lanyon CSC, Andy is able to blend his knowledge of cutting edge technology with traditional in-camera and post techniques, giving him a unique perspective on the future of filmmaking.

Tyson Eggum
Technical Director
Tyson Eggum is Technical Director of Lumostage Virtual Production, a Vancouver studio that specializes in real-time virtual production using Unreal Engine assets projected on LED screens. Tyson’s responsibilities include leading a team of talented artists and technicians, as well as overseeing hardware and software aspects of creating immersive and realistic environments for film and episodic projects. Prior to joining Lumostage, Tyson worked as a VFX artist for feature films, gaining valuable experience in motion picture production workflows. Tyson is passionate about sharing his virtual production experience with Canadian filmmakers.
