Daniel Hsia is a visionary leader and accomplished filmmaker with over two decades of experience as a writer and director in episodic, feature film, and commercial productions. In addition to his creative talents, Daniel's entrepreneurial spirit drove him to start Lumostage Virtual Production, a cutting-edge company offering LED virtual production solutions to Vancouver productions of all sizes. Under his leadership, Lumostage has pioneered groundbreaking virtual production techniques, pushing the boundaries of what's possible for British Columbia creatives.

Angus Luk Ramsay

Head of Business Development / Co-Founder

Angus Luk-Ramsay is a dynamic leader and innovator in the entertainment industry, currently serving as the Head of Business Affairs at Lumostage Virtual Production. With a decade-long career in live event production, Angus brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the job. As a co-founder of Lumostage, Angus has played a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and success. His strategic vision and business acumen have been instrumental in forging key partnerships and navigating the complex landscape of the entertainment industry.

Nessa Aref

Producer - Scripted Content

Nessa Aref is an award-winning Canadian-Iranian filmmaker, known for her innovative storytelling. Nessa's creative journey has seen her produce, direct, and write for both narrative and commercial projects. With a hands-on approach, Nessa leads diverse projects at Lumostage, blending creativity with pragmatism. As the Producer for Scripted Content, Nessa brings her years of experience in pre-production, production and post production to every project, helping to bridge the gap between traditional filmmaking and virtual production. Excited to make the impossible possible using LED Volumes, Nessa is thrilled to usher in a new wave of filmmaking.

Tyson Eggum

Technical Director

Tyson Eggum is Technical Director of Lumostage Virtual Production, a Vancouver studio that specializes in real-time virtual production using Unreal Engine assets projected on LED screens. Tyson’s responsibilities include leading a team of talented artists and technicians, as well as overseeing hardware and software aspects of creating immersive and realistic environments for film and episodic projects. Prior to joining Lumostage, Tyson worked as a VFX artist for feature films, gaining valuable experience in motion picture production workflows. Tyson is passionate about sharing his virtual production experience with Canadian filmmakers.

Scott Enns

Senior Technical Operator

Scott Enns has worked as a recording artist, audio engineer, live event video technician, motion picture playback operator, and is now Senior Technical Operator at Lumostage Virtual Production. In his role, Scott draws upon many years of cross-departmental experience to manage equipment stacks, signal flows, as well as video and Unreal assets for virtual production.
